Collin has problems with a blocked tear duct and I was taping him so I could show the doctor how the eye gets really swollen and looks smaller. Collin didn't like the attention.

ReplyDeleteI just had to give you a quick hint. My oldest had the same problem and the doctor said that there was not much to do except maybe surgery??? later on. Then I talked to one of the doctors at the hospital where I work part time and they said that when you give him a bath use Johnson and Johnson No Tears shampoo and dribble some of it in his eye. The shampoo will "clean" out the tear duct and will not harm him as it does not sting! I used a sudsy wash cloth when I did it and presto..it completely went away!! Just like that! No more nasty goop or swollen eye shut! Hope this helps.
